In order to legally play for American Legion Baseball, you must have a Certified Copy of Live Birth on record with the Legion Commissioners here in Spokane. This must be accomplished prior to June 1st of each year to be eligible to play.
Players who played Legion Baseball the prior year have already been cleared. New players (including incoming freshmen or transfers) must obtain a Certificate of Live Birth. You get these from the Vital Records Department in the County from which you were born. Please see the images on the right to choose the correct certificate.
